2004: Building the Smart Enterprise Suite listed by Gartner


In 1998 ADVANTYS released it's first software: PubliGen.
This web based content management solution was then deployed by more than a hundred organizations and is still daily used by thousands of end users.

As a software maker ADVANTYS had to develop reusable web components for it's own usage. In 2000 ADVANTYS decided to share some of those components with the world community of ASP developers. The aspSmart line of products was made available online. The free aspSmartUpload component instantly became a must have and was downloaded by tens of thousands of developers worldwide.

In 2003 the needs of ADVANTYS' clients shifted towards collaboration. The online collaboration tool (eGroupGen) and the workflow software (WorkflowGen) were released that year.By combining content/portal management, collaboration, workflow and development, ADVANTYS released the Smart Enterprise Suite (SES). ADVANTYS became one of the rare vendors to offer all those components from the same origin.

In 2004 Gartner USA listed ADVANTYS' SES in it's Magic Quadrant among prestigious vendors like Microsoft, SAP, Oracle.

 

1995: Materializing a Vision


The founders of ADVANTYS, who are still in charge today, created the company in 1995 to materialize their vision of technology: transform the technology into a competitive advantage.  From the start the focus of ADVANTYS was the business community even when in the mid-nineties a majority of start-ups where targeting the consumers.

ADVANTYS was among the very first vendors to successfully develop web based applications (Internet and Intranet) for corporate users. ADVANTYS developed the ability to very quickly transform the clients' requirements into a robust, reliable, user-friendly solution.

Always close the market needs, ADVANTYS then developed it's own products for a larger distribution.  All the software built by ADVANTYS are the result of the combination of 2 major ingredients: a real unsatisfied need from the business users and the optimum usage of the latest technologies for an accelerated time to market.
